How we help Manufacturers

Automation problems rarely look the same twice. These are the three ways I most often step in.

Automation SWOT

Before you spend a dollar on new equipment, know what you're actually working with. I spend one to two half-days on your floor, interview your team, and deliver a straightforward report: what's working, what's working against you, and 3–5 realistic projects worth pursuing — or avoiding.

Good starting point if: you're not sure where to start.

Buyer's-Side Representation

When you're ready to buy equipment, I represent you — not a vendor. I write specifications and RFQs, evaluate proposals, and project-manage the purchase from spec to startup, so the system you get is the one you actually need. Good starting point if: you're evaluating equipment or vendors.

Automation Turnarounds

If your first automation project didn't go the way you hoped, you're not alone — and it's fixable. I help manufacturers new to automation diagnose what went wrong and get a stalled or underperforming project back on track. Good starting point if: a past project underdelivered.

I work best with small to mid-sized manufacturers making their own automation decisions, and equity groups guiding multiple portfolio companies through their automation journey — across North America.
